This problem occurs on virtually any computing device. Something happens and you can not suddenly scroll up or down, or click on anything. It's annoying, but there are actually two ways to remedy them. You can perform a soft reset, which is done by pressing Alt + CAP + DELETE on your handheld at the same time.
If this does not work, do a hard reset. This is done by finding the RESET button on the back of the handheld. Sometimes, this button might be down under the battery cover. Press the RESET button with a pin or paper clip. Either way, you should not lose data.
